Sabah's head coach Valdas Dambrauskas attended a press conference before the return leg of the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round against Chelsea.

Offsideplus.az reports that V. Dambrauskas stated that the goal was victory after they lost the first leg 2:3:

“Tomorrow we have a very important game. I believe that it will be a very interesting match. In the last game we got into a bit of a difficult situation – we conceded a goal in the last seconds and lost the lead. But I believe that in European Cups the result is determined not by one, but by two games. That is, it is impossible to pass the stage with one game.

No matter what happens – even if the first game ends 2:2, we must definitely win tomorrow’s game. We have seriously analyzed the opponent. We have had very good training sessions over the last three days, and our trip went well. Today we will have a training session. We have repeatedly analyzed what the opponent did in the first game and what mistakes we made.

Now it is time to correct the mistakes we made in Baku, to develop and to believe in ourselves. We must believe that it is in our hands to change this situation.”
