The Azerbaijan Basketball Federation (ABF) has established a new Coaches Department to support the professional development of coaches and the long-term training of players across the country.

Offsideplus.az reports, citing the federation's press service, that the department will focus on coach education, developing national team programs, improving instruction at ABF academies, and elevating the technical standards of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.

Tahir Bakhshiyev has been appointed Director of the Coaches Department, while Anar Sariyev, Zaur Pashayev, and Polad Hasanov will serve as department members.
