Lukas Grabauskas has been appointed as the new sports director of Sabah basketball club.
Offsideplus.az reports, citing the press service of the capital representative, that the specialist possesses extensive knowledge in sports management and scouting, with his last workplace being Lithuania's Lietkabelis.
With over 15 years of experience in basketball, Grabauskas spent the last eight years at Lietkabelis. During this period, the Lithuanian club regularly competed in prestigious international tournaments such as the FIBA Champions League and EuroCup. Grabauskas, who also interned at world-class NBA and EuroLeague clubs early in his career, shared his thoughts on the appointment:
"I am truly excited to join an ambitious club like Sabah BC. I believe in the club's vision and goals, and I will do my best to contribute to its continuous development and success. Together, we will strive to build a competitive team that successfully represents the club and its fans."
