Offsideplus.az reports that after the match, head coach Georgi Kondrusevich spoke to the club’s press service.

Kondrusevich noted that the tight travel schedule affected the team’s performance:

"We could have won this match, but probably the travel factor after the game against Ordu played a role. We played that game on Friday in Baku, then returned to Lənkəran, and today we traveled again to Sumqayit. The impact of the travel may have been felt toward the end of the match. There were mistakes in empty situations. This is unfortunate, but the team worked hard, and that cannot be overlooked. I thank my players for their fight. Everything depends on the team. If we approach every game like this, I believe victories will come as well."
