The participants of the Sumgayit stage of the 3x3 Basketball World Series for Women have been announced.

Offsideplus.az reports, citing the press service of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation, that the "city of youth" will be the scene of the struggle for the championship of teams from different countries of the world.

A total of 16 teams will participate in the competition. 12 of them are national teams: Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia, Kazakhstan, Madagascar, China, Benin, France, Great Britain, Latvia.

The other 4 teams are the clubs "Carolina" (Puerto Rico), "Beijing" (China), "Takasaki" (Japan) and "CS Rapid" (Romania).

The games of the Sumgayit stage will take place on July 26-27 on the city's seaside boulevard.
