Azerbaijani forward Vusal Isgandarli, who plays for Turkish side "Boluspor," will miss today’s crucial playoff match against "Istanbulspor" in the TFF First League.

According to Offsideplus.az, the 29-year-old striker is suspended due to reaching the yellow card limit.

This is considered a major blow for the Bolu-based team, as Isgandarli has played a key role in their recent form, contributing significantly to four consecutive wins in the final rounds of the regular season.

Notably, he played the full 90 minutes in each of the last three matches, during which "Boluspor" achieved an impressive 21 goals in three victories.

Thanks to this strong finish, "Boluspor" secured 7th place in the league standings and qualified for the playoffs, where five teams (ranked 3rd to 7th) will compete for a single promotion spot to the Turkish Super Lig.

To reach the top tier, Vusal’s team must win three consecutive matches.

If "Boluspor" defeats "Istanbulspor" today, they will face the winner of the "Bandırmaspor" vs "Erzurumspor" clash in the next round.

The final battle for Super Lig promotion will be against "Karagumruk," the team that finished 3rd in the regular season.
