Azerbaijani basketball referees have been appointed to officiate at various age-category European Championships to be held this summer.

According to Offsideplus.az, four FIBA-licensed referees – Alekber Hasanov, Ruslan Khaligov, Urfan Bayramli, and Anastasiya Slozhenitsina – will officiate games in international tournaments scheduled for July and August.

• Alekber Hasanov will officiate at the U18 Boys Division “A” Championship in Serbia (July 26 – August 3), and at the U16 Boys Division “A” Championship in Georgia (August 8–16).

• Ruslan Khaligov has been appointed to the U16 Boys Division “C” Championship in Albania (July 5–13), the U16 Girls Division “A” in Romania (August 15–23), and the U18 Boys Division “B” also in Romania (July 25 – August 3).

• Urfan Bayramli will officiate at the U18 Boys Division “B” Championship in Romania (July 25 – August 3), the U20 Girls Division “B” in Türkiye (August 20–29), and the U16 Boys Division “B” in North Macedonia (August 7–16).

• Anastasiya Slozhenitsina will officiate at the U18 Girls Division “B” Championship in Lithuania (July 4–13).
