The Azerbaijan Championship among boys under 12 has started.

Offsideplus.az reports, citing the press service of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation, that 12 teams are competing in the competition.

Children's teams of 12 clubs playing in the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) have participated in the championship.

According to the regulations, the competition is held in groups A and B, as in the ABL. The teams will test their strength in 2 matches with each opponent in their group.

In the group stage, which consists of 10 rounds, those who take 1st-2nd place will directly qualify for the playoffs. Those who take 3rd-6th place in the groups will be divided into 4 pairs to determine 4 more participants in the playoffs.

Group A: "Sabah" BK U-12, "Nakhchivan" BK U-12, "Neftchi" IK U-12, "Absheron" BK U-12, "Sarhadchi" PIK U-12, NTD BK U-12

Group B: "Ganja" BK U-12, "Sheki" BK U-12, "Ordu" IK U-12, "Sumgayit" BK U-12, "Guba" BK U-12, "Lankaran" BK U-12
