"I take every situation normally."

Offsideplus.az reports that these words were spoken by Qarabag head coach Gurban Gurbanov during a press conference. The specialist spoke about the upcoming match against Neftchi in the 21st round of the Misli Premier League:

"The issue is not about who is right or wrong. We applied to the PFL (Professional Football League) to postpone the match. There could have been any opponent between the games against Newcastle. What concerns me more is that we are playing on Saturday instead of Sunday; we will play three matches in six days. Postponing a championship game before such an important match could have been a great help. We made the request, and they did not agree. The regulations state that concessions can be made for teams participating in the playoffs. It didn't happen. I don't see a serious problem here. Neftchi has its own schedule. I understand them. However, this has happened before—we have either changed the venue or postponed matches with Neftchi itself. We have no intention of holding a grudge or being offended by anyone. We must prepare for the games with deeper focus."

Note: Qarabag applied to the PFL to better prepare for their away match against Newcastle in the UEFA Champions League playoff round. The Agdam representative requested the postponement of the match against Neftchi before traveling to England. The "Horsemen" sent a formal letter to the PFL regarding this. The league organizers, in turn, approached Neftchi for their consent. However, Neftchi turned down Qarabag's request.
