Qarabag lost to Shamakhi in the first leg of the Azerbaijan Cup quarter-finals.

Offsideplus.az reports that the match, held at the Shamakhi City Stadium, ended in a 2-1 victory for the home team.

Karim Rossi scored for Shamakhi in the 26th and 41st minutes. For the visitors, Abdellah Zoubir found the net in the 76th minute.

It should be noted that the return match between the teams will take place in early March.
