Discussing the upcoming Azerbaijan Cup quarter-final match against Zira, he said:

"This is one of the most crucial games on our path to European competitions. Zira is our main rival in the fight to reach the semi-finals. The team has prepared well for the match. Regarding the squad, Emil Mustafayev is injured; he also missed the game against Karvan-Yevlakh. It is highly likely that he will not participate in this match either. Everything else is in order with the rest of the players."

The club official also commented on potential transfers:

"New transfers are always a possibility. As you know, free agents can be registered at any time. However, at the moment, there is no specific position or name on the agenda."

The match will take place on February 4 at the Mehdi Huseynzade Sumqayit City Stadium, kicking off at 17:00 (5:00 PM).
