The 24th international tournament in memory of famous Ukrainian wrestlers and coaches has started in Kiev.

 11 Azerbaijani athletes started competing on the first day of the tournament, Offsideplus.az reports. Afgan Khashalov lost in the first match to a Belarusian wrestler. Mahir Amiraslanov defeated the Ukrainian wrestler. As his Greek opponent did not fight, Ali Rahimzade won the qualifying round without wrestling.

Joining the fight from the 1/16 final, Turan Bayramov defeated the Armenian wrestler representing Ukraine in the last minute.
