Azerbaijan's U-15 wrestling teams are set to compete in the European Championship to be held in Samokov, Bulgaria.

According to Offsideplus.az, citing the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, our representatives will hit the mats in all three wrestling disciplines at the tournament, which runs from May 20 to 24.

Our country will be represented by the following squads at the continental championship:

Greco-Roman Wrestling

Squad: Hüseyn Əmrahlı (38 kg), Xudayar Kərimov (41 kg), Paşa Aslan (44 kg), Pünhan Şahmarov (48 kg), Rəsul Əhmədli (52 kg), Sadiq Vəlizadə (57 kg), Raul Məmmədzadə (62 kg), İbrahim Məmmədzadə (68 kg), Süleyman Verdiyev (75 kg), and Fikrət Baxşəliyev (85 kg).

Coaching Staff: Head coach Taleh Məmmədov, alongside coaches İlham Vezirov, Azad Əliyev, and Fuad Aydınlı.

Women's Wrestling

Squad: Ülviyyə Musayeva (33 kg), Gülay Xasməmmədova (36 kg), Nərgiz Cəfərzadə (39 kg), Leyla Əsgərova (42 kg), Mədinə Kərimova (46 kg), Günel Kərimli (50 kg), Ləman Əliyeva (54 kg), Zərifə Alızadə (58 kg), Aylin Həsənli (62 kg), and Fatimə Qayqiyeva (66 kg).

Coaching Staff: Head coach Mariya Stadnik, alongside coaches Rövşən Umudov and Solmaz Adilova.

Freestyle Wrestling

Squad: Yusif Abdullayev (38 kg), Elman İsmayılov (41 kg), Məhəmməd Kərimov (44 kg), Əli Baloğlanov (48 kg), Adəm Quliyev (52 kg), Yılmaz Səmədov (57 kg), Yusif Hüseynov (62 kg), Yusif Bədəlov (68 kg), Xəyal Şükürlü (75 kg), and Elvin Necəfzadə (85 kg).

Coaching Staff: Head coach Namiq Quliyev, alongside coaches Elşad Allahverdiyev, Xəqan Süleymanov, and Emin Əzizov.

Referees: Azerbaijani referees Sevinc Yusibova, Samil Fəttayev, and Nihad Muradov will also be officiating matches at the championship to ensure fair play.
