The closing ceremony of the 42nd Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships took place in Frankfurt.

Offsideplus.az reports that during the ceremony, the World Championship flag was handed over to the Azerbaijani delegation, as Baku will host the next edition.

This officially marks Baku as the host for the 43rd World Championships, set to take place on September 15–19, 2027.

The tournament in Baku will serve as a crucial Olympic qualification stage for athletes competing in both individual and group programs.
