European freestyle wrestling champion Ali Tsokayev (92 kg) shared his thoughts following his victory.

Offsideplus.az reports that he spoke to the press service of the Wrestling Federation:

“It was my debut at the senior European Championships. Last month, I became the U-23 European champion. I am grateful to the coaching staff who worked with me and everyone who supported me. The final was tense, there was some pressure, and it didn't start the way I wanted. But thank God, I managed to turn the result in my favor. Next year, God willing, I plan to compete in the 97 kg weight category.”

It should be noted that Ali Tsokayev became the strongest on the continent by defeating Ahmed Batayev with a score of 5:3 in the final.
