The schedule for the national senior wrestling championship has been determined.

Offsideplus.az reports that from January 7 to 11, the names of Azerbaijan’s champions in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling will be decided at the Baku Sports Palace.

Wrestlers who finish in the top three will be included in the national teams. Alongside local referees, the matches will also be officiated by experienced Category I-S referees invited from abroad.

Preliminary matches will start at 10:00, while the decisive bouts will begin at 18:00.

The opening ceremony of the championship is scheduled for January 7 at 17:00.
