Azerbaijani table tennis player Nihad Mammadov aims to etch his name into the Guinness World Records.

According to Offsideplus.az, the national team member will attempt to break the world record for the longest distance table tennis serve. The event is scheduled to take place on April 12 at the Shua Sports Complex.

The current record is held by Turkey's Osman Gurcu, with a distance of 16.7 meters. Nihad Mammadov plans to surpass this by successfully performing the serve from a distance of 17 meters.
