FIFA referee Aliyar Aghayev has been handed a new assignment by UEFA.

Offsideplus.az reports that the experienced official will take charge of a Conference League match.

According to the official website of AFFA, Aghayev will referee the game between KuPS (Finland) and Lech (Poland).

He will be assisted by linesmen Zeynal Zeynalov and Akif Amrali. Additionally, Elchin Masiyev will serve as the fourth official in the technical zone. Stuart Attwell from England will be the VAR official, with Nijat Ismayilli assisting as AVAR.

The match is scheduled to kick off on February 19 at 21:45 Baku time.
