"Baku will remain my second home."
These words were spoken by Bojan Letic, who recently parted ways with Sabah FC, in a statement to Offsideplus.az.
The 33-year-old defender reflected on his performance with his former team:
“I gave my all in every training session and every match. It makes me very happy that there are people who appreciate that. The 'Sabah' chapter of my life will remain a special memory in my heart. I will always remember the pleasant days I spent there. I hope to have the opportunity to visit Sabah FC and Baku again in the future. This club holds a special place for me.”
When asked about the possibility of continuing his career in the Azerbaijani championship, Letic replied:
“It all depends on the club and the terms offered.”
It should be noted that Bojan Letic, who played for Sabah since February 2022, made a total of 125 appearances for the team. He is also the author of the Owls' first-ever goal in European competitions.
