Today, AFFA President Rovshan Najaf met with the head coach of the A national team Aykhan Abbasov.

Offsideplus.az reports, citing the organization's press service, that during the meeting, Rovshan Najaf highly appreciated the work done by the specialist in the U-21 team, as well as the performance of the A national team in the match against the Ukrainian national team (1:1) in the qualifying round of the World Cup-2026.

AFFA President Aykhan Abbasov exchanged views on the upcoming matches of our team.

Rovshan Najaf stated that the support of the national team and the head coach from the AFFA leadership will continue, and wished our team success in the next matches.

AFFA Executive Vice President Sarkhan Hajiyev and Secretary General Jahangir Farajullayev also attended the meeting.
