The 26-year-old footballer noted that the season was successful for his team:

"Yes, there were difficult moments, but we were able to overcome them. As for myself, I think the season went quite well, but there are still two matches left, and we will try to perform well in those as well. It is still too early to talk about European competitions."

Huseynov, whose name has recently been linked with the German club Darmstadt, declined to comment on the matter.

It should be noted that Turan Tovuz secured their participation in European competitions after a narrow victory over Karvan-Yevlakh in the 31st round of the Misli Premier League. The only goal of the match was scored by Aykhan Huseynov in the 45+1st minute.
