"Qarabag" club has officially commented on the possible transfer of football player Nariman Akhundzade to the Norwegian club "Molde".

Anar Hajiyev, the head of the press service of the Aghdam representative, told Offsideplus.az that no agreement has been reached regarding the transfer of the 20-year-old striker.

"Yes, Qarabag received an offer from the "Molde" club regarding Nariman Akhundzade. However, no agreement was reached between the parties. Later, the Norwegians did not contact us," - A. Hajiyev said.

A "Qarabag" official denied the news that Nariman was leaving for Norway to sign a contract: "Nariman did not go to Norway, he is with our team. He is currently in the club's camp and is leaving for Tovuz for the next round of the championship."

It should be noted that the young football player has a contract with "Qarabag" until 2028. According to allegations, Molde is ready to spend 400 thousand euros to acquire the transfer rights of our compatriot. However, it is certain that Akhundzadeh will not appear in the Norwegian championship until at least the summer. Because the "transfer window" in the country in question closes today. The new season in the Norwegian championship, which is held with a spring-autumn system, will start on March 29.
