Frank De Blacker, chairman of the AFFA Judges Committee, commented on the controversial episode in the first goal of the guests in the game "Karabagh" - "Turan Tovuz" (1:2) yesterday.

Offsideplus.az reports that the Belgian specialist expressed his opinion about the episode of the goal scored by "Turan Tovuz" in the 90th minute.

He thinks the referee made the right decision: "Turan Tovuz" football player passes the ball in front of the goal from a corner kick. The goalkeeper of "Qarabag" (Shahrudin Mahammadaliyev) goes to the ball and pushes it away with his fist. The ball falls in front of player number 40 of "Turan Tovuz" (Kuan Martins) and he scores a goal. After watching the footage on VAR, it appears that there were no fouls (tackling/contacting the goalkeeper) that caused the goalkeeper to lose his balance. The goal is taken into account because it was scored within the rules.

It should be noted that Gurban Gurbanov stated at the post-game conference that the referees made a wrong decision and that the goal should not be counted.
