Azerbaijan's Odlar Yurdu team will compete in the World Rapid and Blitz Team Championships to be held in Hong Kong.

Offsideplus.az reports, citing the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ACF), that our country will be represented in this prestigious tournament by Rauf Mammadov, Aydin Suleymanli, Ahmad Ahmadzada, Khazar Babazada, Vugar Manafov, Gunay Mammadzada, and Murad Ibrahimli.

The experienced grandmaster in the squad, Rauf Mammadov, will also serve as the team captain. Meanwhile, ACF General Secretary Ilaha Kadimova will function as the deputy chief arbiter of the world championship.

It should be noted that according to the regulations of the tournament, which will take place from June 17 to 22, each team's roster must include 5 men, 1 woman, and 1 recreational chess player.
