MOIK, competing in the Azerbaijan First Division, has appointed a new head coach.
According to Offsideplus.az Orkhan Safiyaroglu will now lead the team. He previously served as an assistant coach for the club.
The 35-year-old specialist had a playing career with clubs such as AZAL, Simurq, Khazar Lankaran, and Sabail. This will be his first experience as a head coach. The club has entrusted him with the team until the end of the 2024/25 season.
It should be noted that MOIK’s former head coach, Gazanfar Abbasov, resigned on March 18. Currently, the team sits in 6th place in the league standings with 22 points.
