- Really interesting game. Especially in the second part. The pace of the game did not slow down even after we were in the minority. Both teams were eager. I am satisfied with my players. They were not tired, they looked active. I wish success to Rashad Sadigov and Zira. It would be correct to say that the championship is becoming more and more difficult for us. We have no other way out. 

- How realistic was it for Bedavi Huseynov, Mahir Emreli and Maxim Medvedev to play against Villarreal?

- It is difficult for Mahir to be in the starting lineup. Maybe be careful. Bedavi's performance was questionable. Because he has not joined the team yet, and today he trained individually. We will look at the situation tomorrow. Everything will be known on the game day. As for Maxim, he trained twice with the team. Therefore, we did not include him in the main squad. 

- You competed with Rashad Sadigov for the first time in 20 years. How did it feel?

- We were rivals in training (laughs) I try to be honest. We human beings, although we say good luck to the opponent, we have a different approach. Today I sincerely wish success to the opponent.

- To what extent did the fact that your opponent was Rashad Sadigov and know you well affect the result?

- I think all teams know us well. No matter how close Rashad was with us, they made different attacks during the game. They came out with a different system. Other teams played a lot against us. Rashad was a rival for the first time. We both had goal episodes.
