Azerbaijan U-21 national team forward Lorentso Mezzotero made his next official appearance for Sampdoria.

According to Offsideplus.az, the 18-year-old forward came on as a substitute in the 83rd minute of the match against Palermo during the third round of Serie B. The game ended in a 3-1 defeat for Sampdoria.

Currently, Sampdoria sits in 18th place in Serie B with just one point from three matches.
