On the second day of the Grand Prix tournament held in Linz, Austria, Azerbaijani judokas secured two more medals.
According to Offsideplus.az, both medals were won in the 81 kg weight category.
Vusal Galandarzada claimed the silver medal, while Omar Rajabli took home the bronze. Vusal was defeated in the final match by Adilet Almat (Kazakhstan) after sustaining an injury. Omar, meanwhile, defeated Eetu Ihanamaki (Finland) in the bronze medal bout.
It is worth noting that Ruslan Pashayev (66 kg) emerged as the winner of the competition yesterday.
With a full set of medals (gold, silver, and bronze), Azerbaijan currently ranks third in the overall team standings among 59 countries and holds the first position in the men's category.
