Former UFC welterweight title contender Halil Rountree has arrived in Azerbaijan to take part in the main event of UFC night in Baku on June 21.

Offsideplus.az reports that the American athlete today went for a walk in the historical part of Baku, Icherisheher.

The 35-year-old star visited the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, climbed the Maiden Tower, and also got acquainted with the art of Azerbaijani carpet weaving. He even participated in the process of weaving a carpet.

In the main event of the competition in Baku, Rountree's opponent will be UFC welterweight champion Jamal Hill.

In addition, 3 Azerbaijanis - Rafael Fiziyev, Nazim Sadikhov and Tofig Musayev - will enter the octagon at UFC Baku Fight Night.
