The "Nejad Hashemi Cup" freestyle wrestling tournament held in Behshahr, Iran, has come to an end.
As reported by Offsideplus.az, three members of Azerbaijan’s U20 national team reached the podium on the final day of the competition.
Anar Jafarli (92 kg) and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) claimed silver medals, while Nurlan Agazade (70 kg) secured a bronze.
Among seven participating countries, the host nation Iran topped the team standings, followed by India in second place and Azerbaijan in third.
It is worth noting that on the first day of the tournament, Omar Gulmammadov (74 kg) won silver, and Sadreddin Hasanov (57 kg) earned a bronze medal.
