Newcastle United has parted ways with Jamaal Lascelles.

According to the 'Magpies' official website, the Jamaican defender has left the club after a long tenure.

Lascelles had been with Newcastle since the summer of 2014 and served as the team's third captain.

Lascelles made 253 appearances here.

It should be noted that Newcastle United will face Qarabağ in the Champions League play-off round.
