Athletic Bilbao have been fined for their Champions League match against Qarabag.

According to Offsideplus.az, the reason for the sanction was the behavior of the club’s fans.

The Basque club will have to pay a €10,000 fine to UEFA.

It should be recalled that during the match, Athletic supporters displayed the flag of the so-called regime once created by Armenian separatists in Karabakh.

Officials of the Aghdam-based club immediately informed UEFA representatives about the incident.
