Neftchi basketball club has suffered a significant loss.

Offsideplus.az reports that Amil Hamzayev, who wore the white-blacks jersey for two seasons, announced his departure on social media, addressing fans and the club's management:

"Like every beautiful story, my journey with Neftchi has come to an end. I hand over this jersey, which I wore with pride and honour, with great pride and gratitude after two seasons. During these two years, we celebrated together, overcame tough days, created unforgettable memories, and forged lifelong friendships.
