The head coach of the Azerbaijani men's basketball team, Tahir Bakhshiyev, has commented on the victory over the Luxembourg team.

Offsideplus.az reports that the head coach expressed the tension of the game and the upcoming goals with these words:

"We knew in advance that the game would be very difficult. The trip to Luxembourg was a very important test for us in the group. Our basketball players fought until the end on the court, they put up an excellent fight, and as a result, we achieved this very tough victory. I congratulate the whole team. However, we do not have time to relax. I think we should already direct all our attention to the last game of the group against the Irish team. We will try to do our best in front of our home fans."
