The Azerbaijan men's national basketball team played their latest match today as part of the FIBA EuroBasket 2029 qualifiers.
According to Offsideplus.az, the team led by head coach Tahir Bakhshiyev faced North Macedonia on home soil. The match took place at the Baku Sports Palace and tipped off at 20:00. The encounter ended in a 70-78 victory for the visitors.
So far in the tournament, the national team has suffered defeats against North Macedonia (49-87) and Luxembourg (90-95) but managed to secure a narrow win over Ireland (76-75).
