Note that the teams in the groups will play each other in a round-robin format (each with each other) in a home and away format. In Group A, each team will play 6 games, and in Groups B and C, each team will play 4 games. The winner of each group (the team that takes 1st place) advances directly to the next stage.
One of the best second-place teams may also advance (according to FIBA's general regulations, for the balance of the groups). Since there are 4 teams in Group A, the results of the games with the team that took the last place in the competition for the best group runner-up will not count.
