The new head coach of the Neftchi basketball team has been announced.

Offsideplus.az reports that Vitaliy Stepanovsky will coach the "black and white" in the 2025-26 season. The Ukrainian specialist previously coached the "Khimik" (Ukraine), "Craiova" (Romania) and the Ukrainian national team. He most recently coached the Estonian club "Parnu".

It should be noted that Vitaly Stepanovsky's assistants will be his compatriot Oleg Goncharov and Georgian Daviti Chivchavadze. D. Chivchavadze coached "Neftchi" last season.
