Touching upon the issue of Azerbaijani footballers living the life of a legionnaire in the near future, Emil Shukurov touched upon a number of important nuances.

He said that one of the main conditions for Azerbaijani footballers is to learn a foreign language:

"If you go abroad to play football, you have to know the language of that country. It's a great advantage," Emil said.

"If I want to introduce our players to the other side, I have to show their good and bad images. The players have to work on themselves and try to overcome their shortcomings. Let the other side understand what shortcomings this player has and what he needs to work on more. In short, I call on our players to be ready to move. But not to walk like a tourist, but to really justify the trust (laughs)."
