The women's wrestling events at the U17 European Championship held in Samokov, Bulgaria, have concluded.

Offsideplus.az reports that the Azerbaijani national team, competing on the fifth day of the tournament, finished the event with one bronze medal.

Here are the results of our wrestlers on the mat:

Fatima Bayramova (53 kg): Displaying a confident performance in the decisive bronze medal match against Zuzanna Sokolovska of Poland, Fatima defeated her opponent by technical superiority (10:0) to claim the third step of the podium.

Nuray Jafarli (46 kg): Facing Lara Blajekovic of Croatia in the third-place match, Nuray lost a hard-fought battle with a 1:4 scoreline, finishing the European Championship in 5th place.

Simura Abdullayeva (69 kg): Competing in the repechage round, our athlete was unable to overcome Polina Efimova of Russia (2:8) and missed out on a medal opportunity.
