Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) advanced to the decisive stage by defeating his Turkish opponent, Hakan Büyükçıngıl, with a 3:1 score.
Ali Tsokayev (92 kg) left no chance for the Swiss representative Samuel Scherrer, securing a confident 6:0 victory.
Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg) demonstrated complete dominance with a 12:2 crushing win over Ivars Samusonoks of Latvia.
Turan Bayramov (74 kg) also earned his spot among the finalists by defeating Giorgi Elbakidze of Georgia with a 2:1 score in a tense encounter.
Nuraddin Novruzov (61 kg) lost 3:14 in the semifinals to the world champion Zelimkhan Abakarov, who enjoyed the support of the local fans. Nevertheless, our wrestler may still finish the tournament with a medal; he will compete for the bronze medal tomorrow.
