Azerbaijani clubs have made a record start in the current season of European competitions.

Offsideplus.az reports that our representatives have accumulated 2.625 points in the UEFA ranking following the completion of the first two qualifying rounds. This is the highest score recorded in the history of the country's football for the initial two rounds.

For comparison, the previous record was set during the 2017/18 season with 2.250 points.

Points earned by our clubs:

Sabah - 1.000 points

Qarabag - 0.750+ points

Zira - 0.625 points

Neftchi - 0.250 points
