In the fifth round of the Misli Premier League, Zirə's head coach Rashad Sadygov spoke at a post-match press conference following the 1-1 draw with Qarabag.

According to Offsideplus.az, the specialist expressed satisfaction with the determination shown by his team: "It was a very high-quality game. This was expected. I thank my players. They maintained high discipline and determination. We could have lost, and we could have won. The issue is not the result, but the determination."

Touching on the injury problems within his squad, the head coach commented on the recurring shoulder injuries: "Our goalkeeper is undergoing recovery, he is in Brazil. This is our fate. In one year, four players have suffered the same injury. This is not a lack of preparation, it's fate. Vierinya also got injured in the 20th minute."

Sadıqov also discussed the team's struggles in European competitions, admitting to his heaviest defeat: "The loss to Payde was very heavy. I believed that the team was ready for the group stage and the play-off round. Experiencing such an event in European competitions was a big lesson for me."
