Azerbaijani arm wrestler Tabriz Safarov has been banned for two years.
According to Offsideplus.az, the decision was made by the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA).
He was sanctioned for violating anti-doping rules. Safarov received a 24-month ban due to the presence and use of a prohibited substance (ephedrine) in his sample.
The sanction, which came into force on September 9, will expire in 2027.
