Azerbaijani national team player Mahir Emreli will play for the German club "Nürnberg" this weekend.
Offsideplus.az reports, citing the famous BILD publication, that the team's head coach Miroslav Klose gave this information.
The German coach said that despite M. Emreli's fasting, his help is needed: "I had a long conversation with Mahir. Then we made a decision together. I always like to show 100 percent of our strength. It was the same in the last round match with "Preußen Münster". That's why Mahir is preparing for the upcoming derby. I am optimistic about this game".
Emreli watched the match with "Preußen Münster" (1:0) from the sidelines in the last round of the 2nd Bundesliga due to fasting. "Nürnberg" will play its next match on March 16 against "Greuther" - another representative of the city of the same name.
Mahir's team is currently in 8th place with 38 points.
