“When I left Baku, I felt that my condition was getting worse.”

This was stated by Azerbaijani MMA fighter Vugar Karamov in his statement to Offsideplus.az.
Karamov, who was poisoned a few days ago and therefore could not participate in the Rizin tournament scheduled to be held in Japan, said that he is currently feeling relatively well:

“When I got on the plane in Baku, I was not feeling well. A little later, I started feeling nauseous. When I arrived in Japan, my condition worsened even more. When I was examined, the doctors said that I was poisoned. They did not allow me to fight. Good. I hope that I will recover soon and be able to return to fighting.”

It should be noted that Vugar Karamov was supposed to fight his Japanese opponent Koyomi Matsushima today.

Our representative has won 7 of his 10 fights in the Rizin organization.
