Qarabag have bid farewell to Polish goalkeeper Mateusz Kochalski.
Offsideplus.az reports that the Agdam club agreed to the transfer following an offer from Polish side Wieczysta Krakow and in accordance with the player's wishes. Negotiations between the two clubs have been successfully concluded.
The 26-year-old shot-stopper, who joined Qarabag in the summer of 2024, made 76 official appearances for the team. During his tenure, Kochalski won the Azerbaijan Premier League title (2024/25) and ranked among the top three goalkeepers in the UEFA Champions League with 40 saves as Qarabag reached the playoff round.
The Agdam club thanked the Polish goalkeeper for his professionalism and contributions to their success, wishing him the best in his future career.
