Offsideplus.az reports that following the 4-0 victory in the friendly match against WSG Tirol (Austria), head coach Gurban Gurbanov shared his thoughts:

"Overall, it was a good match. Despite the physical workload and the hot weather, the players fought well on the pitch. We achieved the desired physical workload, and the result was also positive. Securing a victory like this in the first match boosts the players' confidence. Of course, we are still far from our optimal form. Our new signings need a bit of time to fully adapt. However, the most important thing is that they are highly motivated. I believe they will contribute to our team for a long time. I am satisfied with the progress and the team. We will continue with this motivation and pace."
