Sabah crushed Aarhus 4-0 in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.
Offsideplus.az reports that Sabah head coach Valdas Dambrauskas shared his thoughts on the match during the post-match press conference:
"I congratulate all of Azerbaijan, the Sabah fans, the management, the technical staff, you, and all the fans watching from home. We learned our lessons after the first leg. Whoever was in better shape played. We were the team with more desire from the very start. The opponent pressed more compared to the away match. The first goal was crucial, and we played much more comfortably after the second. We will celebrate this victory, but then we will focus on our league match this weekend."
When asked about his preferred opponent for the play-offs, the Lithuanian specialist responded:
"I don't even want to discuss that. We will prepare for the match against Kapaz. It will be a very tough game with different emotions and atmosphere."
Regarding keeping clean sheets in home matches, he added:
"There is no special secret. We try to dominate right from the first minute. Once we score, we don't want to stop. We have played against different opponents—the first two teams played defensively. Sometimes, you simply can't convert every chance you get."
