Former Azerbaijan national team player Jeyhun Sultanov shared his thoughts with Offsideplus.az regarding the championship race between Qarabag and Sabah:

"In my opinion, the point gap between Sabah and Qarabag is not that large. If Sabah were 9-12 points ahead today, they could feel comfortable. A 3-4 point difference is not significant. I believe the competition will continue until the end of the season, and the team that drops fewer points will become the champion. It is a very interesting championship, and I think both teams are playing at a level worthy of winning the title; in the end, whoever makes fewer mistakes will emerge victorious."

Regarding the three consecutive matches between the two sides scheduled for next month, he said:

"It is true, playing three matches in a row is very difficult. Psychologically, facing the same team and the same players on the pitch can create discomfort. But as I said, the team that is psychologically prepared, plays correctly, and makes fewer mistakes will be the champion. For me, both teams deserve to win the title. Even though Sabah is 4 points ahead, maintaining that lead will be very difficult."
