Qarabag midfielder Marko Jankovic has given an interview to the Serbian portal Mozzart Sport.

According to Offsideplus.az, the Montenegrin international shared how the Agdam-based club first discovered him:

"Qarabag scouted me while they were watching Marko Vešović’s performances for the national team."

Speaking about his head coach, Gurban Gurbanov, Jankovic expressed high praise:

“One could write a book about him. Those who embrace Gurban Gurbanov’s football philosophy achieve results.”

Regarding his future with the club, the midfielder added: "I have spent the longest period of my career at this club. If a significant offer comes along, I would like the club to show me understanding. I want to leave 'Qarabağ' as a winner and be remembered for my success here."

It should be noted that Marko Jankovic has been playing for Qarabag since 2022. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2027.
